POETRY IN PRIMARY COLORS

It's still January, and I'm not done yet with my well - wishing,

my wish this year for anyone
who pursues Creativity
that you may overcome all your hidden fears!
Shed the Corny,
the Common,
the Sentimental
you know .... when people say,
"Oh, that is sooo Cute!"

grab whatever looks good to you
it will loosen you up from anything
that distracts or keeps you stuck,
boldly and pursue with reckless abandonment
to reach new heights.

On one of the art events,
I saw her working on a poem,
an unassuming person
with clear blue eyes
and a razor sharp mind

these were the images that began to form

In a dark night sky
lighted by the moon

the movement of angel's wings
kindling a new life giving fire
blowing and launching
birds in migration
into different spheres
where they changed
into words, lines, and stories.

a feather with a thousand colors
in her hand
she wrote and wrote
till the birds had settled into
their new destination
she smiled as she finished
with a .

Interesting J post for sure and I so do love the night sky painting. I'm always in awe of artists such as yourself who can take a blank canvas and create something inspiring. :)

Lovely painting....was this inspired by the moonlit sky?

My prayer, too... for those to be free to write, to paint to dance... to celebrate life! Nice journey unfolding.

I'm going with the reckless abandonment. Well, let say my version of it anyway. Love the painting.

Hi you left a msg on my WP (http://ewok1993.wordpress.com) asking where the lighthouse is found. It's called Pt. Bonita Lighthouse and its in the Marin Headlands (Golden Gate National Rec Area) in San Francisco area. When touring the city, you can easily add this to your itinerary and the hike to the lighthouse goes thru a tunnel and some spectacular views, very easy hike and rather short as well.

Oh, how absolutely beautiful, especially your wish for all of us this year. I could not agree more. I always say our art is simply our story, and no two stories are alike. :)
Saved you a seat on the pink beach buggy.
Thanks for stopping by the shop.
Much love.
